Zoho Registration Form - Senior Content Writer.
We are looking for an excellent content creator/marketer to help us tell the stories that matter most to our customers. If you have a strong editorial aptitude and write articles that the target audience just can’t stop reading, we want to talk to you. An ideal candidate will not only have impeccable copywriting skills but will also have a deep understanding of content editing and clearly expressing technical information to educate and engage customers. The person will get to work on stories/content across products and programs. We are therefore looking for collaborative people who can manage multiple projects at once.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging content that is clear, concise and compelling to readers. Ensure high-quality content by reviewing and editing content to build an engaged audience, and offer actionable recommendations to the content team.
- Play an editorial and quality assurance role. Act as a gatekeeper for all content and raise the bar for the quality of content going out from the team. Examine content for logic, clarity, and consistency of message across projects
- Create and write effective marketing content optimized for search and awareness. Content could include website copy, landing pages, blog posts, product descriptions, newsletters, white papers, and social media content.
- Participate in projects to improve content quality, processes, and internal and external content. And create more efficient ways of achieving better results through impactful copy.
- Ensure content accuracy by working in close collaboration with product owners, marketing team and other stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Strong editing and proofreading skills with a minimum of 5 years' experience in similar roles or writing/editing customer communications, website content, or technical instructions
- Minimum bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in English, Journalism, Marketing, Advertising, or other communications-related fields
- Excellent communication skills (written, visual, verbal) with a thorough knowledge of the English language, grammar, spelling, punctuation, and usage
- Strong understanding of writing for the web / online audience
